Changes being made to traffic, parking and public spaces in the Merimbula Central Business District are one step closer.
The proposed plan is based on recommendations from the Merimbula Transport Study adopted three years ago.
Bega Valley Shire Council said the study identified opportunities to improve pedestrian safety, calm traffic and create more vibrant public spaces in the town centre.

The draft plan is now open for community feedback with information sessions to be held at Club Sapphire from Tuesday next week.
