Works on Eden’s new all-inclusive playgound begin

Council contractors will begin the construction of an all-inclusive playground in Eden today (Monday July 10) as part of the Barclay Street recreation precinct upgrade.

The playground will include an accessible zipline, carousel, basket swing and ship and is expected to be finished by October 2023.

A specialised skate park contractor will begin construction of the new skate park from August 21 which is expected to be completed by late-October 2023.

During this time, Bega Valley Shire Council encourage use of the Pambula Beach skate park.

The precinct upgrade project also includes renewal and upgrade of the access road and car park, parkland improvements and pathways to connect all the spaces and new pavilion building together.

Signs and safety fencing will be in place.
