The Sydney Roosters have started locking NRLW players in over the last few days, with the club announcing they’ve signed South Coast local, Millie Boyle.

After winning two premierships with the Brisbane Broncos, where she also won the 2021 Dally M medal, Boyle moved to Newcastle as a major signing for the knights in 2022, where she as co-captain, led the team to it’s first and her third premiership in the NRLW.

Boyle’s exit from Newcastle was floated in the last month with the premiership-winning star now on her way to Bondi.

It comes just weeks after Bega junior and Dragons star, Kezie Apps, announced she was departing Wollongong to join Wests Tigers.

After eight years with St George Illawara, Apps said it was far from an easy decision and that the Dragons would always be in her heart.

“It was a big decision for me to come here but I really wanted to challenge myself in a new environment,” Apps said.
