A Long Beach man remains behind bars on remand 11 months after his initial arrest on an alleged drug fuelled police chase in a Ford Transit van.

54-year-old Jeremy Vincent Miller stands accused of multiple offences including police pursuit, speeding, drive while suspended and using offensive weapon to avoid detention.

His lawyer Samantha Henry has entered a guilty plea on his behalf to one count of wounding a person to avoid arrest while Miller’s stance of the remainder of the charges are still up in the air.
