In response to claims that council received reports the dogs were dangerous, a Eurobodalla Shire Council spokesperson told East Coast Radio four complaints about the dogs’ noisy barking were made to council between November 2020 and May 2021.

“Council had no reports regarding dangerous or menacing dogs associated with the address in Moruya,” the council spokesperson said.

“The barking complaints were followed up with the dogs’ owners as per standard practice.”
