More work for jersey cows in the Bega Valley following a $1.1 million State Government grant for Tilba Dairy.
The much loved Far South Coast producer will use the cash to ramp up production about the 15,000 litres of milk a day it currently produces for the South East and Capital regions.
The operator says increasing their capacity means buying more milk from local farmers and in turn keeping that money local.
