Batemans Bay smoke sellers shut down following raids

Two Batemans Bay tobacco shops, including one opposite the courthouse and police station, have been closed for three months by health authorities.

The action follows raids on the Orient Street premises on Tuesday by NSW Health officials supported by police.

A large quantity of illicit tobacco and vapes have been seized.

The closures follow the shutting down of numerous other shops in Bega, Moruya, and Nowra.
