A person boating off Batemans Bay over the weekend suffered a broken ankle, after their boat hit a wave.
Volunteers from Marine Rescue Batemans Bay provided assistance on Sunday morning (December 10) after receiving a call from a vessel that a person onboard suffered a suspected broken ankle after they fell heavily when the boat they were in hit a wave.
Radio Operators from Marine Rescue Batemans Bay arranged for paramedics to meet the vessel with the injured person on board at Hanging Rock boat ramp.

Marine Rescue Batemans Bay crew also assisted at the boat ramp, securing the vessel and helping the injured person.
The person was transported by ambulance to Batemans Bay Hospital.
