A fishing trip in the Snowy Mountains has ended in tragedy.
Two 73-year-old fishermen were reported missing after going fishing in a lake 145 square kilometres in size, north-west of Cooma last Wednesday (September 6).
An extensive search involving NSW Police, divers, and rescue teams was carried out with two bodies eventually recovered — one on Thursday (September 7) and another on yesterday (September 10) at Eucumbene Dam near Adaminaby.

A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
