We have two permanent full-time roles available in the Water and Sewerage team, based at Council’s Moruya Administration Office. These roles are responsible for managing the development and delivery of water and sewer infrastructure construction and maintenance projects, engaging consultants, contractors and internal resources to achieve Council’s asset and network objectives. The salary for this position ranges from $98,045.49 to $134,772.03 per annum inclusive of 12% superannuation and civil liability allowance, and is dependent on the qualifications held by the employee upon commencement. You’re a proactive and capable project management professional with experience delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects from planning through to construction. You’re comfortable leading contractors and consultants, managing competing priorities, and keeping projects on track for safety, quality, time and budget. You bring a strong commitment to work health and safety, clear communication, collaboration, and you take pride in delivering practical outcomes that benefit the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: Qualifications in Project Management or Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Experience delivering infrastructure projects with preference for water and sewer infrastructure. Strong contract and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience managing budgets, risks and project reporting. A safety‑first mindset with experience supervising works.
