This position is a permanent full-time role in the Maintenance team, based from Moruya and required to work at other depots and various locations across the Shire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance activities (planned and reactive) of transport (road, bridge, pathway, drainage, marine) assets including the Kings Hwy (under RMCC contract), while ensuring crew compliance with regulatory standards. Other responsibilities include ensuring these activities are undertaken in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, with the customer front of mind. The successful candidate will manage and supervise staff, following Council’s Values and Code of Conduct, and in compliance with workplace health and safety legislation. The position also responds to out-of-hours issues and support out-of-hours activities, as part of a rotating roster.
