We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on light vehicles. Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. Conduct safety inspections, roadworthy checks, and preventative maintenance. Repair and replace worn or faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, workshop procedures, and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and labour times. Communicate effectively with service advisors & colleagues Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Working Conditions: Workshop-based role with occasional on-site or breakdown work. Standard hours with overtime opportunities as required.

Skills Required
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification). Current driver’s licence (manual preferred). Proven experience as a qualified mechanic in a workshop environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Strong communication and customer service skills. Desirable: Additional certifications (e.g., air conditioning or auto electrical).
