This position is a permanent, full-time role in the Governance and Risk team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Council’s internal audit and service review function by delivering a risk‑based audit program aligned with strategic and operational risks. The role provides expert advice, oversees audit outcomes and action follow‑up, liaises directly with Council’s Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC) and external auditors, and supports strong governance, effective services, and statutory compliance through practical risk mitigation guidance. The starting salary for this position is $112,580.55 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
