War of words over decade long delay to build new Cuttagee Bridge

A war of words has broken out between local State MP Michael Holland and a Bega Valley Shire Councillor over the controversial replacement Cuttagee Bridge.

Dr Holland called on the council in a social media post yesterday to hurry up and get on with the job. It followed a meeting with concerned local residents at the bridge.

But Deputy Mayor Mitchell Nadin has angrily hit back calling him “a complete moron”.

In an email response on council letterhead, Councillor Nadin accuses Dr Holland of being “high on self prescribed drugs” when he made the post adding that when you sober up you should delete the post and apologise.”
