A man charged with the murder of a Bega Valley woman following a two vehicle head-on crash north of Cooma has not applied for bail during a brief court appearance.
Waqas Haider is alleged to have tried to flee the scene on the Monaro Highway at Colinton on March 1 where a 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Appearing in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday from Queanbeyan Police Station, the 39-year-old was remanded in custody until June 2.
