A Canberra court has reportedly released a man accused of sexually abusing two children on the condition he live under house arrest in the Bega Valley.
Travis Ainsley Muller from Mawson in the ACT is alleged to have groomed and sexually or indecently assaulted two children, including one who was four years old, in the national capital between 2019 and 2020.
Region Media reports the ACT Magistrate’s Court accepted the a plea from the 40-year-old’s lawyer to release him on bail on a number of conditions including living under house arrest at his parents Bega Valley acreage, where they had no internet connection.
Muller is due back in court in late May.
