This position is a permanent full-time role in the Finance team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting statutory compliance, and contributing to the financial integrity of Council operations through effective financial analysis, audit coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The starting salary for this position is $93,585.69 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Skills Required
You’re an experienced accounting professional with strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills, backed by solid qualifications and hands‑on knowledge of accounting principles. A confident team leader, you coordinate workloads effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. You bring excellent teamwork, customer service, and relationship‑building abilities, along with strong skills in accounting software, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
