We have a job opening for an apprentice working in our wholesale plant nursery in Narooma. The apprenticeship leads to a Certificate III in Horticulture delivered through TAFE online over two years. It is a physically demanding job that requires tasks such as – General nursery production – Plant care and maintenance – Apply fungicides – Pest, disease and weed management – Collecting and preparing plants for dispatch – Loading trucks – Some local seed collection You will need to be – Physically fit and healthy – Have a high level of self-motivation – Have good attention to detail and care – Enjoy an outdoor physical work environment – School leavers are encouraged to apply
