Service Advisor

Coastal Auto Group is seeking an enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of our service department, responsible for ensuring each customer receives outstanding service throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair journey. You will act as the liaison between our customers and our highly skilled service technicians, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and assess their service needs promptly and courteously. Consult with customers regarding vehicle symptoms and recommended maintenance or repairs based on manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards. Provide accurate estimates of time and cost for services. Schedule service appointments and manage the service lane efficiently. Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any changes to the estimated completion time. Upsell additional services and products as appropriate. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Maintain strong knowledge of all dealership products and services. Utilise dealership management software for appointment scheduling, invoicing, and maintenance of customer records. Collaborate effectively with service technicians to ensure vehicles are repaired correctly and on time. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership an advantage but not a requirement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-focused with a dedication to providing exceptional service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
