Downright cheeky or innovative? Either way, this Perth license plate has become a sensation for its attention-grabbing plate.

Feels like we’re back in school spelling things on our calculators.

The surprising plate quickly gained online attention, with over 2000 shares and nearly 1000 comments, mostly applauding the vehicle owner’s cleverness.

What’s even more remarkable is how this driver managed to navigate past state transport officials, considering that around 1000 applications for personalised number plates were rejected for being too offensive for WA road users in the last financial year.

According to Perth Now, there are plenty plate submissions that have been turned down in just the last 12 months and among those were GEN3CID, SAUC3D, and RAMP4GE.

One particularly mischievous one — F4K3 T4X1 — alludes to a risqué website, while BUYAGRAM was linked to purchasing drugs.
