Maisie places 22nd with self built Stella in Sydney 300

Maisie Place has finished a respectable 22nd in a 58-car field at the Sydney 300.

The Moruya racer took to the track in her multi-colour speckled self built Mazda RX8 Stella with co-driver Luke Grice in Class C.

The finish was six places higher from where they started the race.

Unfortunately, Maisie fell victim again to the safety car and also had her side mirrors knocked off during the race after being wedged between two other cars.
