Maisie Place has recorded a personal best time in round one of the RX8 Cup at Phillip Island in Victoria.
The Moruya race car driver recorded a 4 seconds improvement on her P-B at the picturesque track.
She qualified in position 18, then got better as the event continued.

Maisie finished 15th in the first, 16th in the second and third then up to 11th in the fourth and final race of the weekend.
