The lawyer for one of two men accused of the smash and grab of a cash rewards machine containing $60,000 from a Far South Coast club has sacked her client after he failed to show up to court for the second week in a row.
Adam James O’Connell from Karabar was due in Batemans Bay Local Court yesterday to plead to three charges including aggravated break and enter in company.
Judge Doug Dick first called the 37-year-old just after 9:30am and then again three hours later and was still nowhere to be seen.

Lawyer Jennifer Chalker advised the court she was withdrawing from the case.
A warrant has now been issued for O’Connell’s arrest.
