“This week we gratefully received a $15,000 donation from IMB, which follows a $46,000 grant through the office of local State MP Michael Holland,” he said.

“So we’ve purchased the vehicle from the funds provided by Dr Holland and now need to get it all fitted out.

“This new asset will significantly enhance the Narooma squad’s capability to access remote, rugged, and difficult terrains, ensuring a faster and more effective response to critical incidents across the Eurobodalla region.

”The acquisition of the Light Rescue 4×4 is a crucial step in maintaining the highest standard of emergency services provided by the dedicated volunteers of the Narooma Rescue Squad.”

The Narooma Rescue Squad is a volunteer unit of VRA Rescue NSW, providing primary response for Road Crash Rescue, General Land Rescue, and specialist rescue operations in the Narooma and surrounding areas. Our volunteers are dedicated, highly trained professionals committed to community safety.
