The western end of the Merimbula Boardwalk has reopened following the completion of repair works.
Bega Valley Shire Council staff carried out the job along the popular lakeside walk with help from trainees under a civil works training program.
The council is still considering options for repairs to the eastern section closest to town which was more severely impacted by the recent tidal surges and high winds.
