Southern NSW Local Health District’s Nurse of the Year is using the honour to encourage locals to join the profession.
Moruya District Hospital Transitional Nurse Practitioner Emma Turner was given the crown as part of International Nurses Day.
She said there is so much opportunity with the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital currently being constructed.
