Preparing for the bushfire and storm seasons now underway is about to become easier for part of the Far South Coast.
A new community preparedness guide with magnet to keep on the fridge is about to be delivered to every household in the Eurobodalla.
The new guide will be dropped into more than 24,000 letterboxes across the shire between Monday and Friday next week.
“Every household in Eurobodalla will get it posted and they’ll receive it next week,” Project Coordinator Sandra Makdessi said.
“Between Monday the 10th and Friday the 14th Australia Post will deliver it to every letterbox, every PO Box and every roadside letterbox in Eurobodalla.”
That’s not all that is happening with the guide.
“We’ll be visiting community groups and educate them around the initiatives around preparedness in this shire,” Von Hutcheson, who also worked on the new guide project said.
