A man arrested allegedly trying to flea the country following a fatal car crash near Bega has been released on conditional bail.
26-year-old Shah Zaib was detained at Sydney International Airport last week and charged with negligent driving occasioning death.
The 26-year-old was allegedly driving a car when it crashed off Mount Darragh Road and rolled down an embankment killing a 25-year-old man.

Zaib appeared before the Downing Centre Local Court and was given bail on the condition that he hand in his passport and not go near any airports.
He’ll face Bega Local Court next month.
