The Rural Fire Service says it will take more than the next few days to bring the Brassknocker Fire fully under control.
The major bushfire has currently burned out 2350 hectares with crews spending the past 48 hours conducting strategic backburning within the Wadbilliga National Park.
Drop in Community Information Sessions were held at Cobargo and Murrah late yesterday to answers questions for local residents.
The fire is located 20 kilometres north west of Cobargo, a community still recovering from the Black Summer Bushfires in 2019/20.
The Endeavour Moor Fire south of Eden grew by just over 100 hectares in size over the past 24 hours but is burning within the uninhabited Nadgee Nature Reserve.
