A man charged in connection to the smash and grab theft of a cash rewards machine at a Far South Coast club has failed to show up at court.
Adam James O’Connell is charged with aggravated break and enter at the Catalina Club last year, which allegedly netted him and his co-accused $60,000.
Judge Doug Dick told Batemans Bay Local Court it may be the case that O’Connell is in custody in the ACT.

He told the court, staff have been trying to ring the AMC in Canberra but they are not answering their phone at the moment.
The matter’s been adjourned to July 20. A warrant will be issued for O’Connell’s arrest if he doesn’t front court then.
