There is some outrage in the Bega Valley over plans to sell an historic local church.
Some Kameruka residents have taken to social media to express their surprise about the pending sale of the 150-odd-year-old Holy Trinity Church in the town including the associated cemetery.
In a notice stuck up on the building, the Anglican Diocese of Canberra states “the net proceeds from the sale would be used to support parish building maintenance and clergy stipends.”
