A report will be prepared for the coroner following the second fatal crash near Eden in less than a week.
Emergency services were called out to a head on collision between a car and van on the Princes Highway, 15k’s south of the town.
They were confronted with the deaths of two 68-yea-olds, a man and woman in the sedan while a 71-year-old woman was airlifted to The Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.

An 81-year-old man was also taken to Southeast Regional Hospital in Bega with suspected internal injuries.
The double fatality follows another deadly crash just north at Nullica last Tuesday which claimed the life of a six-year-old boy.
