Far South Coast residents feature in King’s Birthday Honours

A Far South Coast man has been posthumously rewarded for his significant contribution to mental health wellbeing programs.

The late Randall Clinch from Merimbula awarded an OAM in the Kings Birthday Honours List for service to the community through mental health wellbeing programs.

Mr Clinch worked across the education, youth and corrections sectors in the ACT, QLD, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Former Eden based Water Police Officer and now Marine Rescue NSW Commissioner Alex Barrell has been given the Emergency Services Medal for distinguished service as a member of an Australian Emergency Service.

A Tura Beach man has been awarded an AM for his long association to a community service organisation.

Dr Henry Gardiner recognised for significant service to the community through a range of organisations including Rotary Australia and Rotary International.

Diane Blood from Mallacoota named with an AO for distinguished service to mechanical engineering through innovation and robotic design, and to diversity and inclusion.
