Far South Coast on ‘Floodwatch’ as the state is drenched

A Floodwatch Advice, Severe Weather Warning and Sheep Graziers Alert have all been issued for the Far South Coast today.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a heavy band of rain to fall from the lower Hunter Valley all the way down to Bega.

Up to 100mm could fall in Bega today.

Over 80mm of the wet stuff has fallen in Bega since 9 yesterday morning and more than 35mm in Batemans Bay.

SES Eurobodalla Region Commander Peter Collins said he can’t say it loud enough – Don’t Drive Through Floodwater.
