An immediate family member of the victims of Tuesday’s fatal crash near Eden was reportedly travelling ten minutes behind when it occurred.
The Telegraph reports the wife of the dual cab Ute’s driver and mother of the three children inside was confronted by police when she came upon the scene.
Her six-year-old son died in the crash with a tipper truck.
Her two daughters remain in Sydney’s Children’s Hospital, the two-year-old listed in a critical condition.
Her partner, according to the paper, still unconscious in The Canberra Hospital.
