Far South Coast residents are getting set for the latest round in their fight to keep a timber bridge between Tathra and Bermagui.
Bega Valley Shire Council has just voted to share the three design options with the community who overwhelmingly want Cuttagee Bridge to be kept as a timber one lane structure.
Resident Ken Robinson told the council their engagement activities should include detailed information about the plans.
“As long as it’s a moderated meeting, not a free for all, no one is suggesting anything like that,” he said
“A controlled meeting to get the information so that when you as a community want to actually say what you think about those three options you actually have a chance to say something useful.”
A final decision is expected to be made by council by the end of this year.
