A man has appeared in court in connection to a fatal crash at Tura Beach earlier this year.
Edward James McCoid from the Tweed Valley is charged with several offences including drink driving and dangerous driving occasioning death.
Police allege the 33-year-old was driving a white sedan along Sapphire Coast Drive on June 21 when it left the road and rolled over killing his passenger, a 46-year-old man.

McCoid’s bail has been continued with the matter listed for mention again early in the New Year.
