Bega Valley Shire Council has admitted it miscalculated an outstanding Land Use bill associated with the building of the new Bega Police Station.
A briefing to councillors states the amount owed was $368,000 rather than the original $1-million.
The stuff up followed a meeting with NSW Police who unsuccessfully requested the first bill be waived.

The lower amount has now been paid in full.
