Constance concedes defeat amid heart attack revelations

After twenty years in politics – former state minister Andrew Constance has called it a day.

His decision follows a second unsuccessful shot at winning the Federal seat of Gilmore.

He’s congratulated Labor’s Fiona Phillips – who’s won a third term with an increased majority.

Mr Constance also revealed he suffered a heart attack during the campaign which resulted in bypass surgery in August last year.
