The State Government has praised the work of Marine Rescue NSW volunteers on the Far South Coast.
The sentiment from Emergency Services Minister Jihad Dib follows the end of the high demand boating season.
Members involved in 147 search and rescue operations over the busiest time for activities on the water.

Batemans Bay has topped the list for the number of rescues undertaken over the boating season.
According to Marine Rescue NSW figures, volunteers from the town launched 76 search and rescue missions followed by Eden with 35.
Commissioner Alex Burr-ell says vigilance is still required over the colder months ahead.
