A police officer has had an AVO matter against him dropped.
Magistrate Michael Love told Batemans Bay Local Court he had received an email advising him the matter against Andrew Tyler would not be proceeding.
Last month the same court heard no charges would be laid against the officer in connection someone known to him after consideration by senior police.

The matter has now been formally dismissed.
