UK prosecutors have dropped an attempted murder charge against a Romanian man who stabbed a Far South Coast girl in London.
The 11-year-old Candelo schoolgirl had just come out of the LEGO store in Leicester Square with her mum in August last year when 33-year-old Loan Pintaru attacked her.
The Old Bailey court has been told the attempted murder charge will no longer proceed after Pintaru earlier pleaded guilty to lesser offences.

He’ll now be sentenced just before Christmas.
