A Canberra man has been refused bail after his arrest on the outskirts of Batemans Bay accused of a hit and run.
Police allege the 27-year-old knocked over a teenage pedestrian in Ulladulla before they caught up with him on the Princes Highway at East Lynne.
The 16-year old boy was airlifted to The Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.

The man will front Batemans Bay Local Court next month to answer almost a dozen charges including dangerous and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, fail to stop and assist and drink and drug driving.
