A man will reportedly face a hearing in Eden Local Court next year accused of firebombing a local tobacco outlet.
Eden Tobacconist and Giftware was set alight in the early hours of February 12.
25-year-old Wael Khoder was arrested in Victoria and extradited over the border in March while a request to do the same for his co-accused, a 16-year-old was knocked back.
Khoder is charged with destroying property by fire in company of another to a value greater than $5000, being a passenger in a car believed to be stolen, and damaging property with the intention of participating in the criminal activity of a group.
The Eden Magnet reports Khoder’s lawyer entered not guilty please on his client’s behalf yesterday in Eden Local Court. He remains free on bail.
