Key Responsibilities: · Customer Advocacy: Provide high-level horticultural advice to DIY gardeners and professional landscapers on plant selection, soil health, and pest management. · Nursery Management: Assist in the maintenance of all green life, including watering, pruning, fertilising, and implementing seasonal pest control programs. · Visual Merchandising: Help plan and execute attractive sales area layouts to showcase our range of plants, pots, and garden supplies. · Stock Selection: Assist in ordering seeds, fertilisers, and new plant stock tailored to the unique Far South Coast climate. · Team Support: Work alongside our current team to ensure customers receive a seamless, “whole-of-project” experience.

Skills Required

About You: · Qualified: Must hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or higher. · Experienced: Previous experience in a retail nursery or commercial horticultural environment is highly regarded. · Communicator: A "people person" who can translate technical plant science into simple, actionable tips for customers. · Physically Fit: Comfortable with the physical nature of nursery work, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions. · Local Knowledge: An understanding of local soil types and coastal growing conditions is a major plus.
