Spiral Gallery exhibitions: Family Threads

Cousins, Steve Stafford and Michelle Flynn, have created new work based on their family history of Michelle’s grandfather and Steve’s great uncle, Alf Stafford, a Gamilaroi and Darug man. Alf’s life was commemorated in 2024 with a Canberra park named in his honour. Alf was the official driver for 11 Australian Prime Ministers, from Joseph Lyons and Robert Menzies, all the way to Gough Whitlam.
