6th Birthday Connections Community Cafe, Dalmeny

We are very proud to say that our Connections Community Cafe, held every Tuesday from 10 until 12 at the Dalmeny Community Hall, is celebrating our 6th Birthday.

Our cafe is run by volunteers and is supported by The Salvation Army in Bateman’s Bay, Mead’s ABC Bakery in Narooma and most of the volunteers are members of Quota Club Narooma.

Our aim is to reduce social isolation and we operate on donations. Our volunteers donate the food we make and use and the donations people make at the door allow us to buy items needed and keep the coffee and tea flowing.

We set up as a high tea and people sit together and meet new people or reconnect with people they have already met.

We have between 10 and 30 visitors each Tuesday and have supported The Cancer Council, The Salvation Army and The Uniting Church over our 6 years.
