An over-water search has been launched in the Eurobodalla overnight after a distress signal was received by authorities.
A personal locator beacon was activated off Batemans Bay around 11:15.
The Toll Rescue Helicopter in Canberra and flew down was activated and spent about 45 minutes searching waters from South Durras down to Broulee.

Most of the attention though was on the Clyde River in Batemans Bay over to Long Beach and out to sea.
Police were alerted but have not received any reports of someone missing at this stage.
