The Far South Coast community has been quick to wrap their arms around a local family devastated by an horrific fatal crash with over $20,000 already donated to a fundraising campaign.
The Kennelly family from Eden is trying to come to terms with the loss of 14-year-old Amelia who lost her life on the Princes Highway at Boydtown on Saturday night.
She was a back seat passenger in a Toyota Landcruiser driven by her 20-year-old brother Angus which struck a kangaroo and rolled down an embankment.

Angus has reportedly had metal rods inserted into his back in a Sydney hospital as he faces a long recovery.
