The New South Wales Rugby League has taken over an investigation into violent confrontations between fans at the conclusion of the thrilling Group 16 First Grade Grand Final on Sunday afternoon.
Group 16 officials were shocked when opposing Bega and Tathra supporters started hurling verbal abuse, pushing, shoving and throwing punches at each other on Bega Rec Ground while other started celebrating and commiserating with the players.
The New South Wales Rugby League has told us they’ve received reports of an incident which is alleged to have occurred and are presently making enquiries in relation to those reports.
